Unix Engineer

Kite Systems is a young and ambitious IT company providing consultancy, software development and interactive design services.

Kite needs to hire 2 skilled UNIX administrators. If you are seeking a fun relaxed working environment but with a desire to deliver exceptional quality and follow solid engineering practices Kite will be a happy place to work.

You will be forming a team of UNIX / Linux engineers and you will be working at all levels of implementation and support. You will be joining a security focused company and mentored by a first class UNIX engineer and developer. One of the successful candidates should have experience with Oracle system administration.

The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 degree or above and you will have at least 2 years experience working as a UNIX engineer. Experience with the following are also desirable: FreeBSD, Debian Linux, LAMP, ESX Infrastructure, and Cisco IOS.
